World-class Beach Vacations

Summertime is beach time and travelers are looking for beaches that are not only beautiful but also relaxing and fun. The US is blessed with fabulous beaches that families and friends would want to visit. Here are a few of the many great beach vacations you can find.

Hawaii. Hawaii is home to some of the best beaches in the world, some accessible only by helicopter or landing watercraft, some built around the high drama of intense waves crashing against razor-sharp lava rocks, some that literally disappear under the high winter surf on the north shores of the islands and maybe some are still undiscovered. Some of the great beaches in Hawaii are Hanalei Bay Beach and Ke’e Beach Park in Kauai, Fleming Beach Park and Kapalua Bay Beach in Maui, Lanikai Beach and Hanauma Bay in Oahu and Hapuna Beach State Park in Big Island.

North Carolina. The best beaches in North Carolina are found along the Outer Bank. One of the best beaches in North Carolina is the Wrightsville Beach, located on the Cape Fear coast near Wilmington. Kure Beach and Carolina Beach are also all around fantastic places to enjoy a day in the sun. Ocracoke Island is 15 miles of unspoiled undeveloped beaches and voted as the 3rd best US beach in 2006.

Florida. White sand beaches, emerald green waters and glimmering sunshine is waiting for you in Flodia. California. California beaches are among the many beaches in the US that are flooded with tourists every year. Huntington Beach is probably better known as ‘Surf City USA’, can be found along the Pacific Ocean. Sonoma Coast beaches are undeniably some of the most natural beaches in California and feature some of the cleanest water. Santa Cruz has 29 miles of beaches that are varied enough to please surfers, swimmers, fishers, sailboarders, kids, sunbathers and beach buffs. Pismo’s 23-mile stretch of prime beachfront has been an annual destination for generations of California families. Beaches in Santa Barbara and Malibu are also great destinations for summer travelers.
