A Beach Vacation With Your Kids

Going to the beach with your kids is an adventure and a fun experience this summer. Here are some tips and tricks on how to make your beach vacation enjoyable for everyone.

Don’t forget the sunblock and use the highest SPF that you can find. Sunblock should be applied to every part of your toddler’s body that is exposed the the sun and apply it early and often. Moms could also pack some swim diapers, they are designed to keep bodily eliminations inside the diaper, even when it’s wet from the pool or the sea. Aside from the swim diapers also bring regular diapers for your toddlers to change to after soaking in the water. When everyone is ready to go home, changing into a clean and dry diapers plus clean clothes is a good idea.

Bring along some sand toys. Children love to dig and play in the sand, so don’t forget to pack some shovel and pail. Also bringing a small kiddie pool can do amazing tricks, they will love it. The little ones can’t bake in the sun whole day, so if you have a baby pool they can still enjoy the waters.

In case of jellyfish sting, you should be ready with your vinegar and/or meat tenderizer. Pack it in a small spray bottle and place it securely in your beach bag. Sometimes a stray jellyfish can wander off the shore and your kid can be stung, a spray of vinegar will ease the pain and relieve the sting and swelling.

Go for a swim at early morning or late afternoon when the sun is not too hot. You can spend noon and early afternoon indoors or you can take your kids out to an attraction nearby, or somewhere shady and more interactive or perhaps let them have a nap.
